Fawna
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Fawna app and this website (fawna.app). By using them, you agree to these terms.
What Fawna is — and isn’t
Fawna offers general, evidence-informed nutrition information that adapts to your life stage. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. Do not use Fawna to diagnose or treat any condition. If you’re pregnant, managing a health condition, or have specific dietary needs, consult your doctor or a registered dietitian.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and don’t use someone else’s account. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Use Fawna lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or misuse it in ways that harm others or us.
Subscriptions & purchases
Fawna offers a premium tier, Fawna Pro, as auto-renewable subscriptions and as a one-time purchase, sold through Apple’s App Store (and, on Android, Google Play). The plans currently offered are:
- Fawna Pro Monthly — an auto-renewable subscription billed every month.
- Fawna Pro Yearly — an auto-renewable subscription billed every 12 months, offered from time to time with a 7-day free trial.
- Fawna Pro Lifetime — a single, one-time purchase for ongoing access. It does not auto-renew and is not a subscription.
The exact price, billing period, and any introductory or trial offer for each plan are shown in the app and on the App Store product page at the moment of purchase, in your local currency. Prices may vary by region and may change over time; any change is shown to you before you buy.
How auto-renewable subscriptions work:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play) account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or in your Google Play account.
- If a free trial is offered and you buy a subscription, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when the purchase takes effect.
Purchases, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we don’t process payments or receive your card details. Refund requests are subject to the App Store’s or Google Play’s refund policies.
Your use of Fawna Pro is governed by these Terms of Use, which serve as the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for the app, together with our Privacy Policy. Purchases made through the App Store are additionally subject to Apple’s standard EULA.
Intellectual property
Fawna, its content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors. Don’t copy or redistribute them without permission.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
